The Employee Provident Fund (EPF) is a federal statutory body under the purview of the Ministry of Finance and is mandated to manage retirement savings of the Malaysian workforce in accordance with the EPF Act 1991. Datuk Wan Kamaruzzaman Wan Ahmad, former Head of Treasury Dept at EPF for 5.5 years from 2007 - 2013 traces the statury body's highs and lows for years 2023 and 2024.
