Najib to visit Cameron Highlands campaign on January 17

Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak who has been increasingly popular for his “U Turn” posts and keeping Pakatan Harapan on its toes is expected to visit Kampung Raja on January 17.

Since leaving office after the May 9 elections, the former prime minister had found personal strength and surge of supporters including those who had previously voted Pakatan Harapan.

Many now wish Najib to come back as prime minister citing the government dismal performance and lack of interest in governance. Najib has been taking on the government on his highly anticipated daily posts amassing huge following. His posts has also caused many changes in policies and turnarounds further reducing Pakatan Harapan’s credibility.

Not too long ago Najib was written off as a liability to UMNO and Barisan Nasional. Today he is seen as a crowd puller.

Pakatan Harapan is rightly worried about Najib campaigning for Barisan Nasional as their campaign thus far has been mired with problems including offending the Orang Asli and alleged bribes.
