Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) leader Fadillah Yusof has urged Sarawakians to come out and vote in full force to ensure the vision of the late Adenan Satem (Tok Nan) fulfiled.

Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) senior vice-president Fadillah Yusof has also urged Sarawakians to spare “an hour of their precious time” to come and vote and secure the state’s stability and prosperity for the next five years

“Please come out to vote to support a strong Sarawak government that can continue providing the cheapest electricity and water rates in Malaysia and to ensure that the Pan Borneo Highway project and other critical infrastructure for the progress and the benefit of the rakyat are completed as soon as possible.

“Please ensure that the vision of the late Adenan Satem for a fully toll-free and ferry-free developed Sarawak is fulfilled,” he said on his Facebook page today.

He also called on Sarawakians to ensure the state’s development and recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic continued uninterrupted.

“Sarawakians should ensure that the state would continue to have a strong and stable government which would protect Sarawak’s rights and its peaceful, multiracial way of life,” he said.

Adding on further, the federal works minister also warned that splitting votes would jeopardise the state government’s stability, resulting in the likely interruption of the state’s economic growth and the rakyat’s welfare.

Early voting started today, with more than 20,000 security personnel and their spouses expected to cast their votes at 16 polling centres in 11 state constituencies.

Voters will go to the polls on Saturday (18 Dec). – New Malaysia Herald
