Najib Pardon: Denial of Fair Trial, Improper Pardon Board Procedures Part of Next Bid

KUALA Lumpur – Tan Sri Shafee Abdullah, the defence counsel for former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, today disclosed that they will be presenting another bid for Pardon application for Malaysia’s 6th Prime Minister.

“We are not certain as to how the decision was finally made.

“In view of the fact that ballot papers were used, which was irregular, this matter remains unsatisfactory and unprecedented,” alleged Shafee at a press conference at the Kuala Lumpur High Court today.

Another document with the seal of the Agong was presented to Najib Razak but was different than the earlier statement issued by Minister Zaleha Mustafa
