Probe me if I’m a serial murderer, dares Najib

Pekan MP Datuk Seri Najib Razak has called Malaysians to stop linking him to several high profile murders that took place in the country for over past decade.

Since the police have failed to reinvestigate any of the murders despite a police report lodge to demand it, the former prime minister said it was only fair to clear his name from all these crimes.

“It’s cruel to spread malicious lies on a person as a serial killer.

“More so when these lies about killing 5 people were being continued unabated”, said Najib in his Facebook posting on Sunday, Feb 17.

On Oct 12, 2018, an aide to Najib lodged a report at a police station in Sri Hartamas, seeking the police to reopen investigations into several high-profile murder cases.

The police report cited a news report quoting DAP supremo Lim Kit Siang who wanted investigations to be carried out again on the deaths of Altantuya Shaariibuu, Kevin Morais, Hussain Najadi, Teoh Beng Hock and Ahmad Sarbani Mohamed. which were previously linked by Pakatan Harapan (PH) leaders to Najib.

Najib revealed that he has told his aide to lodge the report because he wanted the police to reopen the cases to clear his name and let Malaysians know the real culprits behind the murders.

In the report, the unnamed aide wanted the police to clear Najib’s name if their investigations found that the former Umno president was not involved in the high profile murders.

Najib said that the cases should have been reinvestigated immediately since all investigation papers and the power to investigate were now with the current PH federal government.

But he pointed out that the PH government had failed to reopen investigation into the cases even after 4 months.

“In wake of the latest development, I hope Malaysians would no longer link me to these murder.”

For past 10 years, said Najib, the DAP propaganda machinery had worked overtime to smear his name by linking him to the killings of Altantunya Shaariibuu, Kevin Morais, Hussain Najadi, Teoh Beng Hock dan Ahmad Sarbani Mohamed.

“The spiteful lies have been propagated for too long,” he said.

“When PH dares to lie about a person of being a serial murderer, they will undoubtedly be dare enough to spread slanderous lies against the same person?

“The sin of plotting malicious lies is greater than murder.”
