Kit Siang admits to by election corruption shifts blame to Barisan Nasional

Lim Kit Siang admitted that a woman in red Pakatan Harapan t-shirt “reimbursed” travel costs to Orang Asli motorcyclists. 

He then asked if Barisan Nasional is willing to give accounting of its mobilisation in Cameron Highlands.

The admission took many by surprise as Barisan Nasional’s Dato Sivarajah was disqualified for the GE14 elections for money handed out to Orang Asli by a third party.

MCA’s Datuk Seri Ti Lian Ker wrote on his Facebook page that he wanted Pakatan to be investigated for the RM20 payment made to the alleged volunteers.

Pakatan Harapan’s campaign efforts has been mired with problem. During the nomination, M. Manogaran claimed that Malays do not buy Orang Asli produces, a statement he later apologised for.

Later PKR senator Bob Manola Mohd threatened Orang Asli village heads that they will be sacked if they don’t vote for their government.

The issues were downplayed by Lim Kit Siang who blamed Barisan Nasional however PKR vice-president Tian Chua apologised to the Orang Asli community.
